Q: How do I download software?
A: You must login before you are able to download. Once logged in, you may select the product that you want to download from the products page. Click on the Add To Cart button to begin the ordering process. At the end of your order, click on the "download" link and you will be taken to the download page - click on the button to download and install your software. If you have further questions, please contact the PA (Program Administrator) at your school. Your PA's contact email information can be found in the support page. Q: Can I install my software on two computers at once?
A: Yes, as long as you are the owner of both computers and both are being used for instructional purposes. Click on the Support button above. Also, friends, family and colleagues not currently enrolled in a course that is part of an MSDNAA department are not allowed to access or use the software available from this website. A: You are allowed to install the software more than once based at the discretion of the program administrator and the software distribution method chosen (i.e. Download, Cd Check Out). Note: if you purchase a Mail Order product (CD media sales method of distribution) you will need to go through the Microsoft Customer Care Center for support: 1-800- 936-5700 in North America/ World Wide 1-800-249-8314. Double-click on the icon to begin again. If you don't see the shortcut icon on your computer desktop, you can request a re-installation by contacting your program administrator.

Q: Does the license (or "key") permanently unlock the software?

A: In order to unlock your account you will need to contact your program adminstrator. Please click on the Support button (above) to find the contact information for your program administrator.

Q: How to burn an ISO file to a CD in order to install the software?
A: ISO images are images of a disk containing all files as well as boot files necessary for automatically launching the installation wizard. These files need to be burned to a disk specifically as an image, instead of a 'data' disk, which will extract the ISO into the required setup files. By burning the file to a disk as a data disk, you will simply end up with an .ISO file on the disk, which cannot be used for the installation.

Once you downloaded the software, you will end up with the ISO file which by default is saved in the C:\temp folder. You will have to burn it on a CD to make it “bootable.” You need a special software to do this. If you don’t have one, try the following:

A free disk burning program, Active@ ISO Burner, is available by NTFS.com that will allow you to burn ISO or disk images to a disk.

Click Here to download Active@ ISO Burner.
Click Here for instructions on how to use the software.

Additional disk burning programs can be downloaded free at the following link(s):

If you have further questions, please contact the PA (Program Administrator) at your school. Your PA's contact email information can be found on the support page. To view this information, please click on the Support button above.

Q: How do I purchase software?
A: Students can now order a personal copy on CD Media by following these 4 easy steps:

  1. Select the product you'd like to order
  2. Choose the CD Media/Mail Order delivery option
  3. Enter your shipping address and please ensure it is correct
  4. Enter your billing information (Visa/MasterCard)
In order to select a product for purchase you must be logged in. If you are having difficulties placing your order, you should contact the PA (Program Administrator) at your school. Your PA's contact email information can be found in the support page. To view this information, please click on the Support button above.

Q: Is it safe to buy things online using my credit card?
A: Absolutely. Buying products online is safer than buying products the traditional over-the-counter way. No one can see or write your credit card number. Secure encrypted transmission is used. For more information, please read the safe shopping guarantee.

Q: What products are currently available for purchase?
A:If the Program Administrator for MSDNAA has enabled CD Media Sales as a delivery type in this system, these products will be listed in the Storefront located under the Software button. If no products are available for CD Media Sales, students may consider asking their PA (Program Administrator) to enable these in the Storefront. Your PA's contact email information can be found in the support page. To view this information, please click on the Support button above.

Each CD Media Sales product includes one CD (or more where applicable). The license gives you the right to install the product on one computer.

When a student purchases a product under this program, the product becomes the property of the student. The product will not terminate or expire simply by virtue of the termination, suspension, or other interruption of the student's status as an enrolled student.

Each student is limited to ONE copy of each product only.

Q: What am I paying for?
A: You are entitled under your department's MSDNAA agreement to download or order software through CD Check-out at no charge. If you choose to have CD media shipped to your home, you pay a small fee to cover the cost of the CD media itself plus shipping and handling. You are not paying any fee to "license" the software, as the software is already fully licensed under your department's MSDNAA agreement.

Q: When I purchase CD Media, what will I actually receive in the mail?
A: If you choose to have the software delivered to your home or office, you will receive a CD or set of CDs in a plastic CD sleeve. If your software requires a serial number or license key, it will be located on a yellow sticker on the back of the CD media received. PLEASE NOTE: The Mail-order DOES NOT include boxed packaging or manuals. ONLY the installation disk[s] and product key are included with this offer. In multiple CD orders, not all media may have license keys attached.

Q: How are the MSDNAA Products shipped and when can I expect my order?
A: Shipping times for delivery are typical courier estimates. Expected time of delivery is NOT guaranteed. For shipping options, click on the link found with the product's price information.

Please note: All orders received after 12 PM Eastern time are processed the following business day.

If you do not receive your package within the expected time, you should contact e-academy by sending email to
support@e-academy.com. Please provide full details about your order, including username and email address used to order the product (i.e. usually the one you login to the system with).

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Payment may be made via MasterCard or Visa only.

Q: Will sales tax be charged?
A: No

Q: Will I receive an order confirmation?
